Exact and Approximated evolution of the Gaussian Profile

We monitored the volume conservation during the evolution, as requested, using the $l1-norm$ button under the reduce menu. a snapshot is shown in figure (5). We expect the area under the curve to be conserved, given the nature of Burgers equation, and indeed we observe that as a horizontal line.

The evolution of the gaussian profile is shown in the web site. We do not expect any difference and in fact none is present, since the data is smooth and we do not have a jump in the shock that ends up in a zero shock speed. We see the shock front formation and for this conditions both solvers are good.
