Generation of Digital Terrain Model of West Anstey Common from Ordnance Survey vector and aerial raster data in IRIS Explorer. The dataset has been read in from files in the MapInfo MIF format. The height model is generated by interpolation of contour line data (using the IRIS Explorer Interpolate module), while the image has been draped over the height data using the LatToGeom module. Other modules have added vector data to highlight certain features in the aerial image, including the rivers (in blue) and the roads (orange). Dataset courtesy of Exmoor National Park.
