Lesson 1 of this tutorial, Getting Started with the Intel Compilers, shows how to invoke the Intel compiler on both Linux and Windows, and also how to integrate the Intel compiler with Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 and .NET*. The remaining lessons introduce the major optimization options that you can use to improve the performance of your application.
