Compiler Options Quick Reference
This tutorial introduces the major optimization options that you can
use to improve the performance of your applications, along with a brief
description of each option. Click the following button at the bottom of
each of of these pages to see a Quick Reference with more detailed information
about each of these options:
Scrolling
Some topics contain more information than can appear on the screen at
once. Be sure to pay attention to the presence of the scroll bar to know

Names of Intel® Compiler Options on Microsoft* Windows* and Linux*
Although this tutorial includes information about both the Microsoft*
Windows* and the Linux* versions of the Intel® compilers, the name
of a compiler option on Windows is often used as a generic reference to
an option that runs on both Windows and Linux.
Information Specific to a Processor or Architecture
Some topics in this tutorial discuss information that is specific to
a processor or architecture. The following icons indicate when such is
